Our History
Portland Opticians was founded by John and Maureen Beddows and first opened it’s doors in 1983, going on to open a further 8 practices in the Staffordshire and West Midlands region.
Being an independent practice enables us to tailor your spectacles and contact lenses to suit your personal requirements.
We are a family run business providing professional and friendly eye care for both private and NHS patients.
Many of our patients feel that Portland Opticians is a family and our aim is to make every new patient feel part of that!
